Jean-Louis Gasseé, formerly head of product development at Apple, has written an article in which he highlights that given that the Microsoft Surface appears to be failing, Apple now has an opportunity to take the iPad further into the business sector.  He also draws attention to the fact that to achieve this Apple would have to improve the workflow between apps in iOS, allowing multiple apps to be on screen simultaneously.
